GENDER EQUITY IN RECREATIONAL SPORT

COMMUNITY STORIES

The stories featured on this page were written to highlight some of the fantastic initiatives happening across Canada to advance gender equity in recreational sport. Some of these stories feature programs that were made possible through the funding from the Government of Canada (Sport Canada). Others were shared by individuals who answered a call for stories or attended workshops conducted across the country and supported by their various organizations and communities.

CPRA thanks all of those individuals, organizations, and communities whose work are featured in these stories as well as all you who are working tirelessly in your communities to increase participation and retention of women and girls in recreation and community sport.
